In simple terms, I help private equity-backed companies figure out what's broken (or quietly underperforming) in their finance operations - and then build the plan to fix it.
Think of it like a diagnostic for your finance function. I come in, assess how the team, systems, reporting, and processes are actually working, and translate what I find into a clear roadmap tied to real dollar impact. The companies I typically work with are in the lower middle market, around $10M to $100M in revenue, usually going through some kind of growth transition where the finance side hasn't kept up with the business.
My background is a mix of Big 4 training (PwC and Deloitte), corporate finance at BlackBerry, and deep work in revenue recognition, NetSuite, and forensic accounting. These days I'm focused on being the person PE operators and CFOs call when they need someone who can see the full picture and build the path forward (not just implement a tool)
