As Program Director, I have over 21 years of Program leadership experience, especially in the fields of marketing, translation and media production. As Program Director, I listen to the vision from the leadership of a company and then research, plan, develop and implement that vision in close cooperation with the company's leadership and their team, whether that's a team of 5 or 50.
I implement objective-driven continuous improvement (with a particular focus on 'Toyota Kata'). I initiate and facilitate growth and development in a wide variety of global departments: marketing, translation, interpretation, source and target content strategy, multi-media production, human resources, training and vendor management.
At Director level, I managed six language managers and 15 full-time and part-time staff, with responsibility for 57 people in total, including linguists. I also led multi-media production of 4.5 million published words per year. Today, as a fractional leader and consultant, I support organisations ranging from tech scale-ups and life sciences to executive coaching and non-profits.
