I'm Nick, a fractional CTO specialising in helping post-funding companies transform their technology operations for sustainable growth. After 20+ years in tech leadership, including co-founding Unmind (mental health platform) and serving as VP of Technology at Vault Platform, I now focus on guiding companies through their critical post-Series A growth phase via my company, "CTO on Demand."
My sweet spot is working with companies that have secured £2M-£15M in funding and are experiencing the typical growing pains that come with scaling: technical debt accumulation, process inefficiencies, and the need to evolve from startup to growth-stage technology practices.
What sets my approach apart is blending technical expertise with a deep understanding of business needs. I typically engage 2-3 days per week, focusing on:
