Intentional referrals?

Question for the community: how intentional are you about your referral network?

Something I've noticed: the fractional engagements that come through referrals from other fractional execs are just better. Better-fit clients, clearer scope, way fewer red flags. Which makes sense, really, because someone who knows the work is pre-qualifying both sides before anyone gets on a call.

But I've been pretty passive about building those relationships deliberately. Curious whether others here have cracked this:

• Do you actively maintain a roster of people you refer work to?
• Have you found good ways to stay top-of-mind with referral partners without it feeling transactional?
